Sit back and relax.

Every day we meet clients with very different desires, yet treat each individually.
I love where I work, but most importantly I love who I work with.

SALON MANAGER

What appealed to me most when starting my hairdressing career was the freedom. Freedom to be creative, to interact with lots of different and interesting people and to build up a relationship and trust with my clients.

Over the many years I have been in this job, I have built up an understanding of what my clients like and need. I like discussing new ideas, and I will always be honest about how well a style will suit you.

I love where I work, but most importantly I love who I work with. I hope this shows to all our clients, making our salon a friendly and professional place to be and enjoy.

James

DIRECTOR

I started my training with Toni & Guy where I graduated at the London academy with a distinction. Promotion to senior stylist and then director followed. I love the creativity my job allows and enjoy challenging myself. I have recently started training to become an assessor, which will allow me to help and train more like-minded people to achieve their own hairdressing goals.

I am always willing to discuss your hairdressing needs so that you, as the client, can look and feel exactly how you would like to see yourself. Communication is always key – looking forward to seeing you in my column!

I love the creativity my job allows and enjoy challenging myself.

SENIOR STYLIST

I started my Headrush career at the age of 15, helping out after school and working my way up over the years to become a senior stylist. I have great knowledge of our products, having used them for the last 15 years.

I enjoy most aspects of hairdressing but especially colouring. I enjoy interacting with my clients and love that I get to build up a relationship with them, almost as friends. Hairdressing is such a sociable job, which makes it really enjoyable.

Karen

STYLIST

I started working at Headrush voluntarily, greeting clients making tea and coffee and shampooing. I then decided to train as a stylist at Sussex Downs College in Lewes.

I love all aspects of my work and enjoy meeting and interacting with new and regular clients, making sure they have a relaxed and enjoyable experience. I really enjoy doing hair-up, especially experimenting with styles from different periods.

APPRENTICE

I have always loved doing my family’s hair – cutting, colouring, drying and platting, so I decided to make it my career. I enjoy meeting new people, and I’m friendly and approachable. I’ve almost completed my Level 2 qualification and will go straight on to study Level 3.
